Animating with keyframes and easing
In Lumetrope you can put keyframes on every property, shape each segment with a curve editor, and arrange them on the timeline. Presets give you common motion in one click.
How do I add a keyframe?
Move the playhead to a frame, then change a property. Enable the stopwatch for that property to animate it. Keyframes appear as diamonds on the layer's row in the timeline, and you can drag them to retime.
How do I change easing?
Open the curve editor for a keyframe pair, drag the bezier handles, or pick a preset. Use a hold key for a step change with no interpolation.
What are motion paths and presets?
- Motion paths: animate position along an editable curve.
- Motion presets: fade, pop, slide, spin, bounce, shake and more.
- Staggering: offset the same motion across several layers.
What does the timeline show?
Layer bars, keyframes and a segment (marker) band. Drag layer bars to change in and out points. See Nested scenes and segments for markers.
