Install the .deb, .rpm or .AppImage from the table above, if it lists one. You need a desktop with WebKitGTK 4.1 version 2.40 or newer, which Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+ and Fedora 38+ provide. Debian and Ubuntu use the .deb, Fedora and openSUSE the .rpm.
For an AppImage run chmod +x Lumetrope_*.AppImage first, then launch it.
Why is the window blank?
This is common with NVIDIA drivers. Start the app with the DMA-BUF renderer disabled:
WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1 lumetrope-desktop
For an AppImage, set the same variable in front of the AppImage command.
Why do I get a WebAssembly SIMD error?
Your WebKitGTK is older than 2.40. Update your distribution's webkit2gtk-4.1 package.
Where is the MCP server?
~/.local/share/com.waygosquad.lumetrope/mcp/lumetrope-mcp.mjs. See Connect AI agents with MCP.
